Horton House - Jekyll Island
This Historic site are the remains of an 18th-century tabby house & the ruins of an old brewery named Horton House.
Horton House also known as Horton-du Bignon House or Brewery Ruins is located at Riverside Drive on Jekyll Isalnd.
The house was constructed in 1743 by Major William Horton, a top military aide to General James Oglethorpe.
The ruins are open to the puplic, no fee.
