Bamahenge
ou’re likely familiar with Stonehenge, the ancient monument located in Wiltshire, England. Bamahenge is a smaller-scale replica of this iconic prehistoric site.
Conceived by American artist Mark Cline from Virginia, Bamahenge is one of his notable creations. Interestingly, Cline is also behind Foamhenge, another whimsical installation located in Virginia.
The Bamahenge fiberglass stones are the same height and diameter as the British originals.
They are also aligned with the summer solstice.
The money to create the Art for the Art came from George Barber, a local businessman.
