Casino Star Theater - Gunnison
In 1913 when the Casino Theatre first opened it was an amusement hall” and movie theatre.
Except for a short period in the early 1970’s, the Casino Star was continuously as a movie theatre with occasional live performances.
Over the years, the paint peeling and stucco crumbling, the building’s original charm had declined.
In November 1, 2004 the theatre opened after a long renovation and a new name: Casino Star.
Today it is still a movie theater and event location
