Bailey Yard - Golden Spike Tower

Bailey Yard is the world’s largest railroad classification yard. The yord is owned and operated by the Union Pacific Railroad.
Impressive Bailey Yard is located in North Platte, Nebraska. The yard is named after former Union Pacific president Edd H. Bailey.

It is worth a stop, located between Denver and Omaha. You can drive on the top of the Golden Spike Tower to see the really big railroad yard from above.

Directions: In the middel of Denver and Omaha. Drive on I-80. take exit 164 on to Highway 56. take a right on Lincoln Highway (30). Take a left on N Front Road. Take a right on N Homestead Road.
