Skelly Gas Station/ Half Car - Edgerton
In front of the old Skelly Gas Station in Edgerton stood this half car.
The car was placed along the street by Ray Braun, a one-time mayor. Braun, who died at age 90 in 2012, placed the half-car on the service station’s property with a wood sign hanging from the driver’s door as a gag: “divorced she got 1/2”.
In May 2018 the car was removed.
