(I)ndy sign - Be the "I" in Indy
The “I AM INDY” campaign was a project of the Indianapolis tourism bureau. According to the Tourist information, most of the 26 million people, who visit Indianapolis each year, come only to see family and friends.
The goal of the project was to engage residents to ask their visitors to visit the city. They wanted the inhabitants to be stronger Indy ambassadors for the city.
All over town they places the signs, wehre people could stood next to it and be the “I” in Indy.
One of the sign now stand near the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument so the pillar is the “I” in Indy.
