Corey

The Corey Statue was one of several identical gas station goliaths that stood outside Marathon Oil service stations in the 1960s.

The Marathon logo was on the Coreys cap. The name Corey was on on his left shoulder.

To my knowledge there are 3 Coreys in the US all of them in Indiana

1. New Castle, IN – Corey the ice House Giant – he stands in front of the Ice House Tavern
2. Montpelier, IN – Corey – he stand in frint of a souvenir shop at the corner of Hwy 3/18
3. Vincennes, IN – Uncle Sam – a rebuilt Corey

Corey is made out of Fiberglass
He is made from a mold
He his hollow inside
He is 28-30 foot tall from shoe to head
He has a nice smile and a big head
He has short, hair (dark or white)
He has sideburns
His skin Color is white
One hand is holding the jacket
The other hand is holding something
He wears a colored short-sleeved shirt, a jacket and long colored pants and big, blocky shoes.
