Muffler Men

The Muffler man advertising icons, roadside attractions or satnds for decorative purposes in front of businesses, mostly in America.

The first figure was a Paul Bunyan character designed to hold an axe he was approximately 18–25 feet tall.

The axe got replaced to hold full-sized car mufflers, tires, or other items promoting various roadside businesses, most car related.
Therefore the name Muffler Man.

Most of the molds were built by International Fiberglass of Venice, California. Today they are no longer manufactured.

Some artist like Mark Cline bought some the old molds an redesigned it for other kinds of giant statues, like the Ice Cream Jerk, Cowboy and a giant Cyborg.

Muffler Men are very valuable and pricey. Many of them still exist throughout around of states across America with some also in Canada.
