Big Johnson's - Mufflerman
Originally this Muffler Man belonged to Phillips 66 gas stations. They advertised new openings throughout all of northern Arizona. He used to have a rifle in his hands. Now he carries some cards.
Mr. Johnson bought him in the early 1970s. Big Johnson’s has been in front of his realty office ever since.
He has become one of Prescott’s most loved landmarks.
Throughout the years he has provided a photographic background for many tourists and residents. Every 3 to 4 years he gets a fresh shirt and pair of pants.
