Meteor City Trading Post
The Meteor City Trading Post was closed and abandoned when we last visited in 2014.
This place has a lot of history dating back to the 1930s.
It was closed for the last time in 2012 but was recently (2018) purchased by a couple from Indiana whom plan to restore it to the way it was back in the days when Route 66 was the main highway.
The building is pretty vandalized and damaged.
If open or closed it is worth a stop. The main building is shaped like an Indian Round house.
On the property there is a very big dream catcher which is nice for pictures.
