Delgadillo's (Shops in Seligman)

Delgadillo’s Snow Cap Drive-In is a historic eatery and roadside attraction located in Seligman on historic Route 66.
The restaurant was built in 1953 by Juan Delgadillo.

He died on June 2, 2004. The restaurant is still in business.
Since Juan Delgadillo’s death in 2004, the Snow Cap has been operated by his daughter Cecilia and his son John.
It is the most famous stop on Route 66 in Arizona.

Together with Angel Delgadillo, he owns the barber shop next door, Seligman came to new life since the I-40 cut it off from the business.

More publicity came after the Pixar movie: cars. You may recognize some locations, cars and places used in the film.

Angles barber shop is the second famous stop in Seligman. Angel is called “the guardian angel” of Route 66. Because of him, the historic Route 66 in Arizona is still alive, you can say more than alive.

Daily 1000 of tourist are visiting the 2 famous Delgadillo shops.

If you want to meet Angel in the flesh, visit as early as possible. Every morning he sweeps the street in front of his shop.
