Paul Bunyan

Paul Bunyan is a giant lumberjack in American and Canadian folklore. His heroic deeds act around the tall tales of his superhuman work. Usually he is accompanied by Babe the Blue Ox his animal friend.

Paul Bunyan has been the subject of various literary essays, musical pieces, commercial works, and theatrical productions.

The Paul Bunyan character developed in the oral tradition of North American loggers.

In some cities in North America, especially in the states with many forests like Minnesota, Maine, California, Michigan, Wisconsin, there are some of the oversized statues to see.

Some of them are Paul Bunyan’s, which have an own, special mold.

Others are Muffler Man with blue pants, red shirt, brown cap, arms holding an ax. Again, others are self-made and out of any human proportion.
