This giant woodsman Muffler Man originally stood outside the Rite Spot restaurant in Redding, CA. The restaurant offered Paul Bunyan steaks and a Paul Bunyan room. It later became known as the Lumberjack’s.
Today the Muffler Man is located in Viola, CA at the Lassen Pines Christian Camp. It was moved from Redding, California 1971.
The boys and girls at the camp keep the Muffler Man aka Paul Bunyan clean and freshly painted.
If you like to take some pictures, just go into the camp and ask nicely.
