The Sanctuary Adventist Church (formerly known as the Calvary Baptist Church) is a little wooden church in Lancaster, California.
A lonely Joshua Tree stands in front of the Spanish-style church.
The church was used for the “Kill Bill” Wedding Chapel scene where the Deadly Viper Assassination Team attempts to kill “the Bride” played by Uma Thurman.
Besides Kill Bill the location is famous for the movies “True Confessions” with Robert de Niro and “Inferno” with Jean-Claude Van Damme.

| Directions: | From LA take 405 North to Santa Clarita, then take Hwy 14 to Palmdale, CA. Drive on 14 to Lacnaster, CA. At the end of town take East Avenue E for aprox. 10 Miles, at the end of the road turn right on 140th St. E. At intersection with E Ave G make a left turn. Drive about 2 miles on E Ave G. The church is on the right hand side. |
