Hollywood Sign
The Hollywood Sign is that American icon. Overlooking Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. It is situated on Mount Lee, in the Hollywood Hills.
“HOLLYWOOD” is spelled out in 45-foot tall and 352 feet long white capital letters. The sign was originally created in 1923 as an advertisement for a local real estate development named Hollywoodland.
The sign appears frequently in films and television programs set in or around Hollywood.
It is sure the most famous sign in America.
If you want to see the Hollywood sign from far away, you can drive to Griffith Park or onto Hollywood Blv. In some street you may see the sign show through.
The best way to get closer is to take a hike to the sign.
