Horace E. Dodge Fountain - Detroit

The fountain was constructed with 2 Million Dollar to honor automobile pioneer Horace E. Dodge and his son. The money was bequeathed by the widow Anna Thompson Dodge in 1971.

The 30’ high fountain made out of stainless steel, is composed of a ring suspended between two inwardly canted supports
A black granite pool is directly under the ring.

The fountain is located at Hart Plaza at the riverfront in Detroit.
When we were there, the water was turned off.
