Wolrd's Largest Basket Building - Newark
The massive building looks like giant picnic basket. The strange structure is actually a seven-story building and was the former office building of the Longaberger Basket Company.
The Construction of the home office was completed in 1997.
The building was illuminated at night and set amongst a 25-acre landscaped site.
Longerbeger Basket went bankrupted in 2018. The building was sold for $1.2 million and is going to be transformed into a hotel.
We were there in September 2019 – a gardener was on the site, but there was no construction going on.
