Club Cafe - Santa Rosa (gone for good)
The Club Cafe from 1935, closed in the early 1990s. The restaurant had been known for its New Mexican cuisine and its trademark “smiling Fat Man” logo on signs and billboards.
2015 the Cafe was disrupted by his owner Joseph Campos. He owns Joseph’s Cafe in Santa Rosa, too.
Just the Neon Signs were left for other 3 years.
In 2018 Sign Art in Albuquerque removed the signs.
There is a rumor going on, that a collector will refurbish them and re-erect them in a “neon-sign-museum” at the soon-to-come Route 66 Visitors Center in Albuquerque.
