Slug Bug Ranch - Conway
The Slug Bug Ranch was an idea of the Crutchfield family. It was created in 2002, after a huge Travel Plaza was built on the opposite to their property.
The family owned the Trading Post and Ranch next door.
They thought they could stay in business if they could take away traffic with something eye-catching and engaging.
The five wrecked Volkswagen Beetles are also known as Bug Ranch, Bug Farm, and Buggy Farm, it should be a parody of the popular Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo.
Unfortunate it did not work the business went down a few years later. But the Slug Big Ranch still remains.
