Kneeling Indian - Somerville
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find out too much about the kneeling Indian statue standing on a large meadow next to a company in Somerville.
It is been said that e once was on the roof of Bill Williams’ Chicken House in Houston. The restaurant closed in 1973.
After the closure the statues (there was on other sitting Indian) were sold to an Somerville Inhabitant and placed on private property.
Later this kneeling Indian was sold to Dennis Griffin, also an inhabitant of Somerville. He placed it in his yard. And now it’ kind of am mascot to the town.
It was a total coincidence that we discovered this Muffler Man art on the go.
