Glenn Goode's Big People - Big John 1 - Gainesville

Big John No. 1 is a fiberglass statue he was once used as a grocery clerk advertised Big John food stores.

He was assembled and planted by Glenn Goode, after he rescued him from a Kentucky Grocery store back yard.

Glenn is restored him, after the pieces sat behind his work shed for a number of years.

Next to Big John No.1 stand another Big John, a Cowboy Muffler Man, a Muffler Man and an Uniroyal Gal. All together there are called Glenn Goodes Big People.

Glenn Goode passed away in March 2015. His collection remains standing on the front lawn of his sandblasting business.

In Glenns will is written that the five fiberglass figures should remain in place for at least five years before they might be sold.

That remains to be seen. March 2020 is now.
