Tex Randall - Canyon

Tex Randall was constructed at his location in 1959 by Harry Wheeler a local industrial arts teacher.
The statue is made out of concrete, steel and wire mesh.

He originally advertised for Wheeler’s Western Store.

The famous landmark in the Panhandle was recently restored in 2016 with funds.
Future generations can, once again, make memories with the 47-foot-tall cowboy.

We visited the Cowyboy in 2013 – it was a sad sight back then. We were lucky to see Tex in new shine in 2017, again
