The Big Texan Steak Ranch is a steakhouse located in Amarillo.

It opened on U.S. Route 66 in 1960 in 19070 it moved to its
present location on Interstate 40.

The Big Texan is best known for its 72-ounce steak.
Anyone who can eat this steak, with sides, in or less than one hour gets its free.
The sides are a bread roll with butter, a baked potato, shrimp cocktail, and a salad.

Over 10000 people out of about 70,000 people who attempted this challenge have accomplished this feat.

The outside is nice for travelers who won’t eat a steak, there is a big cow and some other things to take pictures with.
