The International Car Forest
Just outside of Nevada’s once richest boomtown is an incredible art installation worth visiting.
Originally designed by Mark Rippie, resident of Goldfield, the curious exhibit was originally conceived as an open space where artists can unleash their creativity on cars rather than on screens.
Shortly after Rippie began implementing his vision, Reno resident Chad Sorg was so fascinated by the property that he moved to Goldfield and currently lives near the property, constantly creating new art.
Thanks to the unusual vision of Rippie and Sorg, visitors can enjoy this free, unique gallery of over 40 cars, all of which are a unique masterpiece.
While some cars have been driven into the ground and are rising in the sky, others are on top of each other as if they could tip over at any minute.
The visit is free.
