Skyview Drive-In
The Sky View Drive-In Theatre is in Litchfield. The Open-air-movie-theater celebrated its 66th year in 2016.
It is the last originally operating drive-in on Historic Route 66 in Illinois, and one of only 4 in the whole US.
The Sky View opened at first in spring of 1950. The original owner was Frisina Enterprises. The theater was sold to Mid America Theaters and then to Norman and Del Paul.
In March 1st of 2016 the Sky View was purchased by Pastro Properties Inc, (Mike, Debbie, Nick and Mindy Pastrovich)
The family will be taking care of this nice piece of Landmark.
The theater is operating from April to October, depends on weather.
